The prayer times app
you can trust
Accurate prayer times for your exact location, with the athan, Qibla and widgets. Free and ad-free on iPhone, Android and Apple Watch.
Everything a
prayer app should do
We were studying at university in late 2020 when we learned that the location data of Muslims using a popular prayer app was being sold on. That’s when we decided enough was enough. We got together and built the prayer app we wanted for our own families and friends: beautiful, ad-free, and with your privacy first. Built by Muslims you know and trust.
A few years on, Pillars is used by nearly 2 million Muslims across the globe. But our vision is to be more than just a prayer app. Our mission is to build tools that empower every Muslim to improve their own condition, in every part of life. Join us on this journey inshaAllah, and please keep us in your duas.
Founders of Pillars
How it works
Prayer times for your exact location
Pillars works out Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib and Isha on your phone from the position of the sun where you are, fresh every day. Travel somewhere new and the times follow you.
The right calculation method, chosen for you
Fajr and Isha depend on the twilight angle a method uses, which is why two apps can disagree. Pillars picks a valid method for your location, such as the Moonsighting Committee, ISNA or the Muslim World League, and you can switch method or choose Hanafi Asr in settings. How prayer times are calculated
Your mosque's times next to yours
Choose your local mosque to see its prayer and jama'ah times alongside your own, now rolling out across the UK, USA and Canada.
Your location never leaves your phone
Because every time is calculated on your device, your GPS location is never sent to us. No account, no ads and no tracking.
