Pillars gives you a prayer times widget for iPhone & Android that shows the next prayer, and how long is left, right on your Home Screen or Lock Screen. It is for anyone who checks prayer times many times a day and would rather glance than open an app.

Prayer Times That Never Disagree

  1. Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets

    On iPhone you can choose small and medium Home Screen widgets and circular, rectangular and inline Lock Screen widgets: a prayer countdown, a wave of the day, today's five times, the Islamic date, a prayer tracker grid or streak, and a fasting countdown. In Ramadan, a Live Activity can keep the fast countdown on your Lock Screen.

  2. A home-screen widget on Android

    On Android, Pillars has a home-screen widget with the five prayer times and the next prayer. Lock screen widget coming very soon!

  3. The same times as the app, even offline

    Widgets read the same accurate times as the app, calculated on your phone for your location and method, so the Home Screen, the Lock Screen and the app never disagree. They refresh through the day by themselves, switch to the next prayer as soon as one begins, and need no internet once your location is set. On iPhone you can mix several sizes and styles on one screen.

How to Set Up a Prayer Times Widget

  1. Install Pillars

    Download Pillars and allow location, so the widget shows the times for where you are.

    Download App

  2. Edit Your Screen

    Touch and hold an empty area of your Home Screen or Lock Screen, then tap Edit and Add Widget.

  3. Add Pillars

    Search for Pillars, pick a size and style, and tap Add Widget.

Install Pillars, then touch and hold an empty area of your Home Screen, tap Edit and Add Widget, search for Pillars, choose a size and tap Add Widget.

Install Pillars, then touch and hold your Lock Screen, tap Customise and choose the Lock Screen. Tap the widget area below the clock, pick a Pillars widget and tap Done.

Yes. Pillars has circular, rectangular and inline Lock Screen widgets.

Yes. Pillars for Android has a free home-screen widget that shows the five daily prayer times and the next prayer.

Yes. The times follow your location, so the widget shows the right prayer times wherever you are. Please ensure you have selected the correct location permission for this to work.

iPhone and iPad (Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, and Live Activities) and Android phones (a home-screen widget). Lock screen widgets coming to Android soon.

On iPhone, the medium Home Screen widget and the circular Lock Screen widget are free. The other widgets, including inline, Wave, Countdown, Streaks and Grid, come with Pillars Premium, which has a 14-day free trial. The Android home-screen widget is free.
