A mosque timetable with athan and iqama times in Pillars
How It Works

Your Mosque's Jamaat Times, in Your Prayer App

Pillars works as a mosque prayer times app: choose your local masjid and see its athan and iqama (jamaat) times beside the prayer times for your location. It is for anyone who prays in congregation and wants to know when the jamaat starts, not just when the prayer time begins.

Last updated

Why This Matters

Know When the Jamaat Starts

  1. Updates when your mosque does

Mosque times come from mosques that publish their timetable, so when your mosque changes its iqama times, Pillars shows the change. The timetable lists the athan and iqama for each prayer, and Jumuah.

  2. Live in the UK, US, Canada and parts of Europe

Mosque times are live in the UK, the US, Canada and parts of Europe, and we are rolling them out to more mosques around the world, inshaAllah.

  3. Beside your reminders and widgets

This matters most where mosques set their own congregation times, often 10 to 30 minutes after the start of the prayer and changed weekly or monthly. Instead of checking a printed timetable or a mosque website, the times sit in the same app as your reminders and widgets. Your own calculated times stay visible too, for days you pray at home or at work.

For times calculated for your exact location, see the prayer times app.

Yes. Pillars shows the athan and iqama times of participating mosques in the UK, the US, Canada and parts of Europe. More countries are coming soon, inshaAllah.

The athan time is when the prayer time begins. The iqama, or jamaat, time is when the congregation stands to pray at the mosque, which is usually a little later and set by each mosque. Each mosque has a unique schedule they set for this.

Usually it is because we have not added it yet. Your mosque needs to publish its prayer timetable publicly first, and then you can request your mosque in the Pillars app.
