Pillars is a prayer time notification app that tells you when each salah begins, using accurate times for your exact location. It is for anyone who wants a reliable reminder for every prayer without noise, adverts or a page of settings. Prayer times are calculated by our prayer time engine automatically based on your location and valid calculation methods.

A Reminder for Every Salah, Without the Noise

  1. Silent, Notification or Partial Athan

    Each prayer has its own setting: Silent, Notification (a banner with a sound) or Partial Athan.

  2. Extra reminders with Premium

    With Pillars Premium on iPhone you can also get extra reminders 15, 20 or 30 minutes before Dhuhr, Asr and Maghrib, an Isha reminder 30 minutes before the middle of the night, and alerts for the White Days and Sa'at al-Istijabah.

  3. On time, even offline

    Every alert is worked out on your phone from accurate times for your location and calculation method, so it arrives perfectly on-time. Notifications keep working offline and update automatically when you travel or the clocks change. You can mute one prayer, such as Dhuhr at work, without touching the others.

Yes, Pillars sends a notification for each of the five daily prayers at the right time for your location, and you choose silent, a notification or the athan for each one.

Yes, in the Pillars app Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib and Isha each have their own setting, so you can, for example, have the athan at Fajr and a quiet notification at work.

Yes, with Pillars Premium on iPhone: 15, 20 or 30 minutes before Dhuhr, Asr and Maghrib, and an Isha reminder 30 minutes before the middle of the night.

iOS limits how long a notification sound can play, so a notification carries only the opening of the athan. The Full Athan alarm plays the whole athan (iPhone, iOS 26.1 or later, Pillars Premium) using a different feature. On Android, the notification can play the full athan, because Android has no such limit.

Yes. Notifications for each of the five prayers, including the Partial Athan, are free, with no ads.
