Prayer Is Sacred. So We Removed the Ads.

Pillars is a Muslim prayer app without ads. It gives you accurate prayer times, a Qibla compass, prayer notifications, widgets and a prayer tracker, and it never shows you annoying adverts or pop-ups. We believe strongly that nothing should interrupt or distract you between you and your salah. We built Pillars for anyone who wants a calm, private prayer app that does its job and gets out of the way.

Why This Matters

No Ads Means No Tracking

  1. Ads only work by tracking you

Most free prayer apps pay for themselves with ads. The problem is ads only work by tracking you. Pillars flips this on its head. We consider your data an amanah. That's why we've engineered Pillars to calculate prayer times and the qibla directly on your phone, your location is never sent to us, and no account is needed.

  2. Paid for by Premium, not advertisers

Instead of showing you ads and selling your data, the app is paid for by people who choose Pillars Premium, not by advertisers, so there is nothing to remove and nothing to sell. This allows for an ad-free and privacy-focused experience for everyone!

  3. Faster, calmer, and works offline

Being ad-free also makes the app faster and calmer. There are no annoying full-screen ads when you open the app, no inappropriate content covering your prayer times, no banners covering the Qibla and no data being shared with ad networks in the background exposing your personal information. Your settings stay on your phone, and the times keep working offline once your location is set.

Every part of the app is built with these privacy principles in mind ... from the prayer tracker app to the prayer times widget for iPhone.
